Beautiful Margherita, Worcester – Review by HungryOwl

It’s rare that we review a takeaway, but this is worth the exception.

Beautiful Margherita is a new Italian style takeaway , making sourdough based Pizzas that are cooked in a wood fired pizza oven.

We had friends around, so ordered for 4 pizzas –

Margherita – we really had to chose the namesake pizza – San Marzano tomatoes,Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVO) ,Basil,Fior di latte Mozarella =  This is the simpliest of pizzas and leave no room to hide inferior ingrients; and we are pleased to report that this was the perfect pizza. Score 10/10

Parma –  San Marzano tomatoes, EVO, Basil, Fior di latte Mozzarella, Rocket leaves, Parma ham, Parmesan cheese –  The sweet little cherry tomatoes and salty Parma Ham is match made in heaven. These also perfectly cobine with the spicy rocket and creamy Mozarella. Score 10/10

Calabrian –  San Marzano tomatoes, Fior di latte Mozzarella, Nduja, Chicken, Sweetcorn –  This baffled me on the menu, I had never had spicy hot Nduja with Sweet Corn and to be honest I was a little doubtful it would work; but it definetly works. Yes this was another 10/10 pizzas, in actual fact this was Fatty Cat’s favourite.

Pepperoni – San marzano tomatoes,fior di latte mozarella,Pepperoni,EVO,Basil. –  just the perfect Pepperoni pizza –  this was my favourite.
