The Lewisham – West Bromwich – November 2025

The Lewisham, in West Bromwich is part of Dartmouth Golf Club. The access is down a narrow lane off Vales Street, but once into the car park there is plenty of parking. Locals often book this restaurant for private events such as wakes, Christening, baby showers and birthdays, so I would always recommend booking in advance.

The one side of the restaurant is all glass and has a beautiful view out across the gold course and Sandwell Valley.

I’ve been a few times now and never previously remembered to write a review; so I will start my saying that the staff are wonderful this includes the kitchen staff that occasionally walk through always smiling and saying hello to everyone. Clearly there is a good culture and morale.

The food is amazing and although for the area pricey – but worth every penny.

My last visit I was with an old school friend and we both ordered the pork belly with potato and black pudding croquets and season veg. Then dessert was a Lemon tart and a strawberry cheesecake. Everything was on point.
