Café Piano, Worcester – Review by HungryOwl
On December 3, 2022 by HungryOwlCafé Piano opened a few months ago in the building that had housed Café Rouge. Although the layout of the café hasn’t changed, the décor is very much improved. The restaurant feels light and airy, there is beautiful soft music playing in the back ground.
FattyCat and I visited on the Saturday of the Victorian Market – we booked a table for 9:30am and to be honest I’m glad we did book, because within 15 mins of us arriving nearly every table was taken.
We ordered a full English breakfast and coffee. The coffee was smooth and rich.
The food was ok – the potato bubbles were a surprise, they were heavy with garlic and not what I would expect for breakfast. The single sausage was cut in half, so initially you think you have 2, but sadly it is only 1. FattyCat’s fried eggs were overcooked and crunchy. The food was more expensive than Black and White and Hash, which seem to have better food and better service. With so much choice in Worcester this establishment doesn’t shine out. Every was just ok.
