The restaurant is situated at the top end of Broad Street within the Cineworld complex. It has been there for years.

Over the years I have taken a range of friends to eat there and we have enjoyed consistently good food and excellent service.

This time I took FattyCat for his visit. He ordered the Spaghetti Carbonnara, it was gorgeous and there was a more than fair portion of porcette in the sauce too. I had the Penne Pasta with Chicken and King Prawns, I have enjoyed this a number of times and it never disappoints.

My only criticism was that out tiny table for two was situated between a table of 12 enjoying a birthday and table of 15 women on a hen party. Both groups were so extremely noisy that there was no way to enjoy a ‘romantic’ meal. In actual fact we decided not to stay for dessert to escape the din.

We will visit here again I am sure and I hope that next time it will be a better ambiance.
