Hash, Worcester – Review by HungryOwl
On December 1, 2022 by HungryOwlHash is a new diner in the Crowngate shopping centre. It has been beautifully decorated and feels very comfortable and relaxed.
I enter the diner at 8:30am on a Thursday morning and was the only person there. I was greeted by a friendly man and shown to a table. He briefly explained their menu and took my drink order.
The coffee arrived and I ordered a full English breakfast.
It could have felt very weird and I could have felt I was being watched being the only person – but that was not the case. There was music playing gently in the background and the waiter was busying himself behind the couter.
The food looked and smelt amazing. I have to admit that usually I leave the hash browns, but as this was Hash I had to try their ‘homemade’ hash – WOW! I what a genius recipe. There is just a touch of rosemary and it makes this dsh so much more that a greasy potato product.
Sausages were meaty, streaky bacon cooked perfectly and there was just a hint of sweetness.
My scrambled eggs were light and fluffy.
