Krakow Poland – Review by FattyCatOn November 4, 2017 by HungryOwl
This week the Gluttons have been in Poland sampling the delights of the country, and what a delight they have been! Overall the food has been great, unique to England but amazing quality and at an amazing price. I could say that it was cheap, but don’t mistake this for quality, it is simply a matter of economics between the £ and the Polish Zloty.
So special mention goes to Well Done, an American style eatery with lives up to its name. Well done indeed!
The place is a typical burger bar and pizzeria but the food is nothing like you have experienced. They are amazing.
Hungryowl plumped the Jack Daniels Chicken Breast with Fries and Fattycat went for the Gentleman Burger. Both dishes came quickly, were hot and looked divine. The Chicken had a distinctly curried flavor which personally I found intriguing, and added immensely to the dish.
However my own choice, the Burger, was indeed a Gentleman, no, it was the King of Burgers. A quality beef patty, cooked medium with Jack Cheese, an Onion Ring, relish and burger sauce. It was probably the best burger I have tasted and didn’t disappoint. It came with fries that were double, if not triple cooked. Skin on and perfect. They were crispy, and fluffy at the same time.
A lot of establishments could learn a thing or two about food quality. Well Done is an understatement, Supreme would be a better name. The service was quality also, polite, friendly and attentive with a range of drinks that were a great addition to the main food.
If you do nothing else in Krakow, Poland, go to Well Done immediately. You will love it!
