Our Taste of Portugal, Worcester – Review by HungryOwl
On April 24, 2021 by HungryOwl
Lock-down is finally started to ease. Cafes, restaurants etc can now open if they have outside seating.
FattyCat and I decided to take a walk into Worcester and top up our book collection. Books purchased we looked for a place to fresh our coffee needs and provide a light brunch. We strolled into The Hopmarket to find Our taste of Portugal open and they had available seating. |

We ordered 1 black coffee, 1 latte and 2 sweet flat breads with cheese and smoked ham.
The coffee was rich and almost nutty in flavour – definitely strong enough to get you going in the morning. But is wasn’t bitter and needed no more sugar than usual. The flat bread was a taste experience – sweet almost brioche like bread with delicate cheese and smokey ham. Really good . |
I think it was a mistake not to have purchased some of theĀ Pastel de Nata to take home with us …..anyway it gives us an excuse to go back soon to try these too. | ![]() |
