The Sweet Greeks, Worcester – Review by HungryOwl
On December 3, 2022 by HungryOwlAfter a morning walking around the Victorian Market, we need a hot coffee to warm us before facing the walk home. I had seen that people had been commenting on Facebook about how lovely Sweet Greeks was and so we decided to give it a try.
Sweet Greeks, is in Mealcheapen Street – a street that is rather unremarkable and filled mainly with charity shops. But this little gem shines out with it’s beautiful teal frontage. Inside the building doesn’t disappoint with its restored wooden beams and comfy relaxed seating.
The counter had an array of sweet treats to tempt us – but after a large breakfast we did give these a miss this time.
So it was just coffee – well not just coffee, very good coffee. It was an intense deep flavour, with an almost nutty aroma. It definitely gave us the necessary kick to walk home.
Service was prompt and very welcoming. Lots of the customers seemed to know each other and the staff, despite this being a relatively new enterprise.
We will be returning and I would imagine that will be the next time we make into Worcester.
I would also like to add this café is proud to say it’s dog friendly too.
