The Poet’s, Hove – Review by HungryOwl
On November 25, 2022 by HungryOwlMay 2022 we visited the The Poet’s in Hove – the main reason for choice was that they were showing football on a Sunday.
We also have a lovely surprise whilst waiting for food as we met a couple of touring puppets.
Food – well it was Sunday Lunch and honestly not my favourite type of meal usually. But this was WOW!
I ordered Pork – which was slow roasted belly pork in cider, with a herby pig in blanket and small smoked pork fillet, with amazing crispy roasties, tasty perfectly cooked veg. FattyCat had Beef, but he has a memory like a sieve so can’t remember what it was served with , he just remembers that it was amazing – LOL.
The pub if very dog friendly and the pooches were being served mini roast dinners too.
Everyone was really friendly and welcoming. It was a great afternoon spent in a delightfully authentic place.
